Missile system installed during Global Refugee Forum
Extra security is in place in Geneva as the Global Refugee Forum is underway.
More police are on the streets and airspace around the meeting is highly restricted.
The army has installed a ground to air missile system in Chambésy which is being described as a last resort and fighter jets are on stand-by.
It’s not the first time air-space restrictions have been imposed. The same rules were put in place when the Pope visited in 2018 and the ILO centenary earlier this year.
More than 2,000 delegates, including country leaders, are attending.
