Grand Genève public transport revamp approaching
Public transport in the Grand Genève region will be changing dramatically next month with the opening of the new Léman Express train network.
Several bus and tram lines will be changing routes and timetables when the trains start running.
The new service is also a boon for night owls. It will run 24 hours at the weekends.
Nyon public transport has announced new night buses which will serve several stations in canton Vaud, running throughout the region – including into neighboring France.
Existing services will also be expanded to allow better connections to the new train.
Commuters are being urged to check how the new timetables could affect their journeys.
The Léman Express starts on December 15th.
