Swiss Foreign Ministry calls for end to Bolivia violence
The Swiss Foreign Ministry is calling for an end to violence in Bolivia and is offering support in holding new elections.
In a statement, the ministry says the country’s electoral authorities need to be rebuilt as they are thought to have been involved with previous irregularities.
President Evo Morales has resigned after weeks of street protests.
The Organization of American States says it has found evidence of vote rigging and says the previous election result should be cancelled.
