Volunteers find SWISS engine parts in forest
A group of volunteers searching a French forest has found parts of an engine from a SWISS international airlines Airbus A220.
The plane was flying from Geneva to London when it suffered an engine failure in July. It landed safely in Paris.
Accident investigators asked anyone walking in a forest about 90km south of Paris to keep an eye out for any engine debris as initial examinations showed the engine had lost part of a compressor.
Some parts have now been found and 200 searchers are in the area looking for more.
