Public transport drivers intolerant to young children
Parents in Zurich are complaining bus and tram drivers are intolerant to young children and are refusing to allow strollers on board at times and even threatening to throw off noisy children.
One driver allegedly told a mother she couldn’t board as it was the time ‘for those people who have worked today’.
Another said the driver used the public address system to say he had never seen such badly-behaved children and said unless they were quiet – they would have to leave.
The reaction of public transport officials further frustrated the mother – she says they supported the driver.
