Thieves stealing boat engines around Lake Geneva
More than 20 boat engines have been stolen over the last few months from moorings around Lake Geneva.
Most of the robberies took place in Founex and Cran-près-Céligny.
Reports suggest the thieves used their own boat and committed the crimes in plain sight. Many engines went missing during the Bol d’Or race.
Most of the engines haven’t been recovered. But two men have been arrested in Hungary with a stolen engine and more arrests have been made in Germany.
