Bern climate march demands more be done to tackle problem
Around 100,000 people took to the streets of Bern on Saturday, demanding more be done to tackle climate change.
The march marks the end of several smaller ‘climate strikes’ across the country over the past few days.
The march comes just weeks before federal parliamentary elections.
The protestors say Switzerland needs to end its reliance on fossil fuels. Many also called for others to make sure they take responsibility by eating less meat and stop flying.
Swiss Federal Railways laid on extra services to Bern for the protestors.
