53 year old Vlad Plahotniuc has been missing since June.

Press reports in the NZZ newspaper say the Federal Justice Office has been approached by Moldovan officials. It’s thought the Eastern European country wants Switzerland to freeze assets thought to be worth a billion dollars.

The tycoon also owns a villa in Geneva. He became one of Moldova’s richest men. He denies using his political influence for personal gain.
