SBB CFF admit problems with doors
Swiss Federal Railways say they’ve discovered nearly 600 problems with door safety systems, 69 problems were listed as serious.
The investigation was launched after the death of a 54-year-old train conductor last month. The man was dragged along the tracks after being caught in a closing door. The doors are supposed to open automatically if they sense a problem.
The rail company say the doors have been repaired and further checks will be carried out.
