Hunt for 60 supercars owned by suspected fraudster
A Geneva court is hunting 60 supercars owned by a former bank executive suspected of fraud and money laundering.
There are six Bugattis, nine Ferraris, seven Rolls Royces as well as Lamborghinis and more.
In total the cars are worth around CHF 45m.
Some have been recovered – but only CHF 2m worth.
They belong to 47-year-old Khadem al-Qubaisi who used to be president of the Zurich-based Falcon Bank and head of the Emirati sovereign wealth fund.
Some cars have been tracked down to a garage in Munich, but appeals to German courts to retrieve them have failed so far.
