Geneva to monitor elderly during heatwave
As the heatwave continues, the City of Geneva is stepping up its monitoring of elderly residents.
Over 13,000 people over 75 years old are being asked to contact social services to make sure they’re getting all the support that’s available.
The city aims to contact each older resident at least twice a week to check on their wellbeing.
Those homeless in the city are also been given free water and help in the heat and will get medical treatment if required.
