Geneva Pride march this weekend
Geneva Pride has been on all this week and it climaxes tomorrow with a parade. Thousands are expected to march from the Palais Wilson to the Parc des Bastions in support of LGBTIQ+ rights.
It’s the first time the Pride March has been in Geneva since 2011 as it moves around the country every year.
There are events and markets throughout the city to mark the event with a Pride Village near Manor.
The speeches start at 2pm outside the Palais Wilson. The venue was chosen as it’s the HQ of the Human Rights Commission.
Police say traffic disruption is expected all tomorrow afternoon.
