Water to be cut in commune as temperatures soar
A commune in canton Solothurn is up in arms as construction work means the water to their town will be cut for the day tomorrow when temperatures will be close to 40.
Locals are angry and are talking to the construction company to plead with them to choose a time when the temperatures are lower.
But the work needs to be done. The company says it will work as fast as possible, promising the water will stay on until 10am and they hope to be finished by the late afternoon.
But one resident has the solution – she says she’s going to spend the day by the river.
