Police dog saves hypothermic teen in Lake Zug
A police dog saved a 17-year-old in Lake Zug yesterday morning.
Zug police say an officer was walking along the lakeside with the dog, when it started to pull on the lead towards the lake.
The officer then spotted two hands clinging to a wall and found the youth waist deep in the water.
After calling for backup, the young man was pulled out. He said he wanted to take a swim on his way home.
He was suffering from hypothermia, but was otherwise unharmed.
The dog, called Wyk, was given a whole cervelat sausage as a reward.
