Basel stops French tram service
The Basel public transport company says its trams will no longer serve stops in France after 8pm following a series of attacks.
For the last few months trams have been pelted with stones and drivers have had laser pointers directed at them.
Since November, the night trams have had security personnel on board.
Basel public transport say they hope the move will now force French authorities to take further measures to ensure the safety of passengers and staff on the trams on their territory.
