Tree catches fire after uninsured car crashes into it
A car burst into flames after crashing into a tree in canton Fribourg.
Although the 22-year-old driver escaped with minor injuries – the impact to his wallet could last much longer.
Police say the man was driving too fast and left the road near Saint Martin when the crash happened. The fire also ignited the tree.
Police soon discovered the man had no insurance or driving licence. The car itself was unregistered. Its now a write-off.
