Woman loses appeal after driving over THC limit
A woman has lost her appeal to have her driving licence reinstated following a suspension for being under the influence of cannabis.
She claimed to the Federal Court that Solothurn police should not have taken her licence as she had a prescription for the drug to ease pain due to a chronic condition.
She was arrested last September and found to have a THC level in her blood over the legal limit. THC is the active ingredient in cannabis.
The court ruled the amount of THC in her body could negatively affect her driving.
