One million Swiss victims of cyber-attack
Around a million people in Switzerland say they’ve been a victim of a cyber-attack – but the vast majority say they’re knowledgable enough to protect themselves.
The survey by the gfs-Zurich research institute shows 92% of the population have at least one device connected to the internet. Half of users say they use the same password on more than one account.
The head of the government cyber security unit, known as MELANI, says it’s important to make sure the public are fully informed about online risks.
