People living in cities say they like the public transport system but don’t like traffic jams and traffic noise.

Pixabay City dwellers prefer more pedestrian and bicycle areas

A survey showed many would like to see more pedestrian areas and better bicycle lanes. The survey was carried out by the Association of Swiss Cities and asked more than 8,000 people.

The result reflects a vote in September last year which approved more money to be spent on cycle lanes across the country.
