The 23-year-old from canton Schwyz shot through traffic lights at road works in Vorderthal and smashed head-on with another car in May 2016.

The other driver was seriously injured and will never get full use of his hand again. He was a plasterer. The victim told the press a prison sentence doesn’t make his hand better.

Prosecutors were demanding a 5 year sentence.
