That’s a ruling by the Federal Court.

Swisscom was taken to court by a local film company that argued it should have blocked foreign sites allowing illegal access to its content.

The court ruled internet service providers cannot be held responsible for online copyright violations.

The film company first took Swisscom to court in 2015, and lost the first case. They appealed and have lost again.
