Passengers warned of crash tenders on runway
Passengers on a flight from Kosovo to Zurich had a nervous 10 minutes after the captain warned them crash tenders will be on the runway in case of a problem.
But the crew said there’s no reason to panic.
The airline, Edelweiss, says there was a warning light in the cockpit suggesting there maybe a problem with the front landing gear.
In the end, the plane landed without incident.
Some passengers are asking if it was necessary to tell them. But the airline responded that it could cause more concern if the fire engines were spotted lining the runway.
