Police use weapons to halt cars
Police have used their weapons in two separate incidents to stop cars.
In canton Aargau officers fired at two cars that had refused to stop in the Bözberg tunnel on the A3 autoroute on Monday morning.
The damaged car did come to a stop a few kilometers later and police found drugs in the vehicle, but gave no further information as investigations are continuing.
In another case yesterday, Zug police spotted a Ferrari being driven erratically and tried to flag it down. The driver failed to stop. After a long chase, the police managed to get in front of the car and threatened the driver with drawn weapons.
The man then stopped. It was found he was over the alcohol limit and didn’t have a driving licence.
