Geneva police 'rightly' sacked over neo-Nazi sympathies
The Federal Court has upheld a decision by Geneva police to sack an officer who showed neo-Nazi sympathies.
The officer was fired in 2014 after Facebook posts showed him posing with a Nazi naval flag and posting pro-Nazi comments.
His name on Facebook was the ‘Black Hussar’.
The court ruled it is proportionate to fire the officer who has displayed beliefs at odds with his oath to the state.
