This country is obliged to be part of the new system - known as ETIAS - as it’s part of the Schengen passport free zone.

Travellers from outside Europe will have to apply online before travel – similar to how the US ESTA programme works.

An ETIAS application will cost EUR 7 for all travelers over 18. Children will be free. The system will start in 2021.
