Lions bought by Swiss circus ring

Animal rights activists are outraged, thinking they had won the battle against animals being used for entertainment.
Another Swiss circus, Knie, gave up on lions in 2004. The owner, Fredy Knie, says most of the venues they travelled to were too small to make sure the animals could be looked after.
In 1990 a Swiss lion tamer was attacked and bitten on the thigh. René Strickler still defends them, calling them graceful creatures.
