Euromillions draw set to break records
The next Euromillions draw will be a record, if the winner is in Switzerland.
No one won yesterday - so now the jackpot is CHF 185m. The previous record was CHF 184m which was won by someone in northwestern Switzerland in October last year.
Since the Euromillions launched in 2004, over a billion francs has been paid out to Swiss winners.
The potential win is approaching the limit. Under the rules, the jackpot can’t exceed CHF 190m.
If it hits that level, then there are four more draws. If it still fails to be won, the money will be paid or shared among the next layer of winners.
However, it’s worth noting – you have a 1 in 140 million chance of bagging the jackpot.
