Léman Express train countdown begins
A countdown clock has been started marking 319 days until the opening of the Léman Express train link.
The new line will run from Annemasse in France to Cornavin main station in Geneva. It will cover 230 km and 45 stations. It will be the biggest cross border commuter service in Europe. It has new tunnels and even involved the moving of a whole building – the Eaux Vives train station.
The clock was started by politicians from Geneva, Vaud and France.
