Swiss man arrested on suspicion of planning terrorist attack in Geneva
A Swiss man has been arrested in Morocco, suspected of planning a terrorist attack in Geneva.
The 32-year-old man, identified as Nicolas P is said to have IS contacts and sympathizers in Geneva.
Reports suggest one of the targets could have been staff working for the Federal Police Office. It’s also suggested Nicolas P was setting up terror cells in Southeast Asia.
He was arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of two Scandinavian tourists in the Atlas Mountains late last year – although he’s not implicated in that particular killing.
