Sebastian Heitkamp had an important business meeting and arrived at Enge station in Zurich to catch the S8 to Winterthur. The train was scheduled to leave at 6.18am – but it actually pulled out at 6.17.

Swiss Federal Railways confirm the train did leave early, but stress it was safe to do so.

The commuter says he arrived at the station to see the train leave. If it had been on time, he would have caught it.

The next train wasn’t for another half an hour.

He says he then had to take a taxi as he couldn’t be late for the meeting. That cost him CHF 180.
