Record autumn temperatures around the country
This autumn has been one of the warmest since records began.
Temperatures from September to November were on average 1.6 degrees higher than between 1981 and 2010, according to numbers from Meteosuisse.
The figures follow one of the warmest summers and springs.
Records have been broken regularly in the last 15 years.
But it hasn’t been so warm in Ticino. November was unusually overcast and wet. The canton hasn’t seen so little sun since records started in 1959.
