Geneva city council members' expenses claims investigated
Geneva prosecutors have launched a major investigation into the expenses claimed by members of the Geneva city council.
Councilor’s offices have also been searched.
In all 5 members are being probed, including the environment minister Guillaume Barazzone.
A report was released last week which claims expenses were used for champagne, taxis and mobile phone calls.
Barazzone has apologized for mixing up personal and public credit cards and says he’s paid back thousands of francs.
