Lucerne mother complains police not doing enough after dog attack
A mother in Lucerne is demanding the police do more to find a dog and its owner which attacked her seven-year-old daughter, leaving her with serious facial injuries.
The young girl says she saw a small white dog and bent down to stroke it. But it leaped up and bit her in the face. She needed six stiches and now suffers nightmares.
The mother says the police could not be bothered to visit the scene of the attack or talk to her daughter in hospital.
The attack happened in Rickenbach in canton Lucerne. The mother hopes they will spot the dog again.
