Sex education for Catholic church
Catholic leaders in Switzerland could bring in sex-ed classes for those working for the church.
It’s hoped the plan will cut the number of sexual abuse allegations. The classes would evaluate how prospective priests and church staff deal with their own sexuality.
A group of experts were brought together by the Swiss Bishop’s Conference. They are making the recommendation which will be discussed at a meeting today.
The bishops will also consider stricter reporting rules when they suspect an attack has happened – making a police report compulsory.
