Switzerland falls in popularity for working expats
Switzerland remains one of the most popular countries to work in for expats – but the number of Swiss who would like to work elsewhere is dropping sharply.
This is according to a new study from the Boston Consulting Group.
Switzerland is the eighth most popular country to work in for expats, after the US, Canada and Germany -but has dropped three places in preference to some Asian countries.
When last asked in 2014, 77% of younger swiss said they would like to work abroad, but that’s now fallen to 60%.
Given the choice, Swiss worker would choose the US or Canada first – and then Germany.
