A kilo of drugs found at Zurich Airport in toy truck
Customs officials at Zurich Airport have discovered a package of one kilogramme of marijuana in a children's push-along truck.
Airport authorities said yesterday that, in early August, employees of the Federal Customs Administration found the drugs in the cargo hold of a passenger plane from Greece. The drugs had been found by specialist drug sniffer dogs.
The latest discovery of drugs was part of investigations by airport officials into narcotics being hidden in everyday objects. At the end of July, customs officials at Zurich Airport found three kilogrammes of hashish in a double-bottomed suitcase. In April, they found 400 grammes of heroin hidden in a book.
