Ten per cent of people who contact a Swiss internet site designed to help employees who feel sexually harassed at work are men, says the Zurich Office for Gender Equality.

The platform was started a year ago and gives people an initial free consultation and advice on where to find more help to deal with sexual harassment in the workplace. A spokesperson for the Office for Gender Equality says that men are contacting the site with similar experiences to women, including being subjected to sexist jokes and unwanted physical contact at work.

On average, just two people are seeking advise on sexual harassment through the platform each week.
