Switzerland will not take further EU migrants
Switzerland says it will not take any further asylum seekers as part of an EU resettlement process designed to spread the number of refugees around the continent.
The country has already agreed to take in 1,500 from Italy and Greece under a deal from 2015.
But a spokesman for the State Secretariat for Migration says there are not enough people who meet the criteria for resettlement. Switzerland will only take those who are likely to have their application for asylum accepted.
