Light plane crashes at Geneva airport
Air traffic was disrupted for an hour this morning after a light aircraft crashed on the runway at Geneva airport.
The small Piper Malibu hit the runway with its nose after it lost a wheel on landing.
Aircraft were unable to land and were diverted to Lyon, Basel and Zurich.
Some departures were also delayed.
The airport was operating normally again after 11.20.
The crashed plane only had the pilot on board and he was unharmed.
