Swiss Airlines embarrassed by in flight magazine misprints
Swiss International Airlines is apologizing after seemingly inventing two brand new Swiss cities.
Firstly, the city of Olten in canton Solothurn has been misspelt with an umlaut on the ‘O’. It shouldn’t be there.
Then the border has been shifted to take in Liechtenstein – so the principality’s capital, Vaduz, is now in Switzerland.
The errors were spotted by passengers who tweeted the mistakes.
The airline has apologized – and says it was already aware of the mistakes which had crept in on the first print run of the magazine.
