Workers cause gas explosion in Zurich
Workers caused a gas explosion in Zurich yesterday afternoon which damaged 25 cars. But no one was hurt.
Reports say an excavator ruptured a gas pipe on Bändlistrasse. The resulting explosion threw mud and stones over a large area which rained down on nearby cars.
The road was closed which caused major delays along Hardturm.
Police say there’s no danger to people and the gas has been cut off.
