Geneva Metallica concert set to be massive
The Palexpo in Geneva is gearing up for one of the biggest events in the venue’s history. Tomorrow the Californian heavy metal band Metallica will perform in front of 22,000 people – arranged around the stage in a 360 degree seating plan.
In an effort to stymie ticket touts, an extra 2,000 standing room tickets have gone on sale for CHF 131. It’s limited to 4 tickets per order.
Geneva public transport is laying on extra services to make sure everyone can get to the concert. Doors open at 6.30 and will end at 11.30.
The advice is – if you’re going to see Metallica tomorrow – take public transport. If you’re not – avoid the Palexpo area.
