Kurd march ends with arrests and vandalism in Bern
A march by Kurdish protestors ended with arrests and cases of vandalism in Bern on Saturday afternoon.
Several hundred marched through the city centre protesting Turkish military action in the Syrian city of Afrine.
It’s thought around 400 marched from the main train station to parliament and then back again. The marchers were equipped with fireworks and flares.
Some then started to spray paint buildings and lit a fire.
Police say 239 were arrested, including 40 children.
