Financial argument closes Crans-Montana ski lift
A financial dispute has closed a major ski lift in Crans-Montana. The ski lift company says it needs money from the local communes to help cover costs.
It’s seeking CHF 800,000.
Two communes agreed, but Crans-Montana is holding out. The lift company president, Philippe Magestretti, says the only rational decision was to close the lift until further notice.
Free buses are now being laid on to take skiers to neighbouring Anzère.
