Switzerland can do more in fight against corruption - OECD
The OECD says Switzerland can be doing more in the fight against corruption – especially in the protection of whistle blowers.
In a report, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, says 11 have been prosecuted since 2011 – and there are several ongoing investigations.
The report says Bern has made progress against corruption, but the government could still be doing more.
It recommends more publicity for anti-corruption cases and tighter legal protection for those who report suspected cases.
Switzerland is required to report back by 2019 on how it intends to extend whistle blower laws.
