Car crashes onto train lines after high speed chase in snow
A 20 year old driver fleeing from the police came off a bridge and crashed onto a set of train lines.
The car ended up on its roof.
The driver failed to stop for a check – and led police on a high speed chase in snowy conditions -hitting several crash barriers on the way. The man continued until the Sitter Viadukt in Sankt Gallen.
There, he went over the edge. Despite the car ending up crushed on its roof, the man got out and ran into the forest. He was caught shortly after. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
His license has been revoked and police are checking blood samples.
