Two cars end up in rivers
Two cars ended up in rivers yesterday in separate incidents. In one, a woman parked her Mitsubishi near the banks of the Rhine near Rekingen in canton Aargau – but forgot to set the handbrake. The car rolled into the water. The owner tried to run after the car, but couldn’t catch it in time. It was a write off.
Just a couple of hours earlier, in Entlebuch in canton Lucerne, a car slid off the road and into the Kleine Emme River. The water pushed the car a further 150 meters downstream. The driver was unhurt, but the car is also a write off.
Both cars have been recovered.
