Thousands of francs of damage after women's march in Zurich
Zurich police say a weekend protest to mark International Women’s Day caused more than CHF 100,000 worth of damage.
Damage included graffiti, posters glued to walls and paint bombs.
Some people complained the police didn’t do enough to stop the march. But senior officers say there were a number of small children joining in with their parents which stopped them from using force.
But they are already looking into how to make sure the same doesn’t happen next year.
