Tremor rocks northern Switzerland
Northern parts of the country were rocked in the early hours by an earth tremor. The epicenter was near the German border in canton Aargau, 12 km north of Laufenburg.
The Swiss seismological survey says the tremor registered 3.1, and they don’t expect any damage, but it would have been felt by people nearby.
Experts say the last 12 months have seen more tremors than normal. The biggest one for the last ten years was in March last year which had a strength of 4.6.
