German bus driver gets confused in Basel
Passengers on a bus in Basel had to help the German driver navigate the Swiss side of his route.
One passenger called it comical.
Some parts of the German route 48 run in Switzerland – and clearly the driver didn’t understand how things worked.
Passengers had to point out he could use the bus lane – and when he stopped for too long at a set of traffic lights, he had to be told what the bus signals meant.
A spokeswoman for Basel public transport says he the driver will be given some training.
